What is MyBluePod?

It's simply your BluePod membership account.  [top]

Why should I bother to create a MyBluePod Membership?

As a member you will automatically receive 10% off our everyday regular prices!  

Also, as a member, you:

  • can comment on the Review Wall for products you've purchased,
  • are eligible to become a tester for cool, new products,
  • can earn BlueBucks by referring friends & family, and
  • may periodically receive free samples with your purchases. [top]

As a member you will automatically receive 10% off our regular prices excluding any sale items, discounts or purchases as part of a Kids' Fundraiser. 

How do I create a MyBluePod membership?

It's so easy.  On our home page, click "join us" and then click "create free account" and follow the instructions from there.  [top]

What is MyBluePod Group?

Your Group is simply the friends & family you've introduced to BluePod through our referral program.  What's really cool is that your Group includes not just the people you've invited, but it includes their referrals too.  To thank you for your referrals, we'll give you BlueBucks every time someone in your Group makes a purchase.  Then simply spend your BlueBucks on BluePod products. How does someone become part of my Group?

Well, first, you'll need to signup as a BluePod member.  Then, just use the "refer your friends" link to invite/refer as many friends as you wish.  When they accept your invitation and sign up as a member, they will automatically become part of your Group.  Your Group also includes the people your referrals invite to BluePod. Why should I invite someone into my Group?

If you like BluePod and the information and products we offer, spreading the word can help protect our planet.  If that's not enough inspiration, we'll thank you by giving you BlueBucks, which you can use for purchases on BluePod. [top]

Do I have to keep track of my Referrals?

BlueBucks FAQs

 

What are BlueBucks?

BlueBucks are dollars you earn when people in your Group make purchases. [top]

How do I earn BlueBucks?

When people in your group make purchases, you earn BlueBucks.  You'll earn BlueBucks equal to 2% of the purchases of your referrals plus 1% of the purchases of your friends' referrals.   [top]

How do I use my BlueBucks?

You can spend your BlueBucks for products on BluePod.  BlueBucks will be automatically deposited into your account when earned.  At checkout, you will be able to see your BlueBucks balance.  Simply click the "apply BlueBucks" button at checkout to receive your discount. [top]

Do my BlueBucks expire?

Yes, but you have plenty of time.  You have two years from the date you earn them to spend them. [top]

Do I have to keep track of my BlueBucks?

No, we do all of that for you. You can always see your BlueBucks balance and your BlueBucks transation history on your "MyBluePod" page. [top]

 

Privacy FAQs

 

Will you use my friends' & family's e-mail addresses?

No worries; we respect your privacy and the privacy of your friends & family.  We only help generate the e-mail invitation you send to your Group.  That's it.  We certainly won't e-mail your friends & family or share their personal information with anyone without their express permission.  Please see our Privacy Policy, which is actually understandable. What do you do with the personal information I share with you?

We suppose some sites shy away from this question.  In fact, we rarely see it in the FAQs of other sites.  We only gather and use information to manage BluePod, and we don't sell, trade or rent your personally identifiable information with anyone, period.  Please see our Privacy Policy.  It's short, surprisingly understandable, and best of all, underscores how seriously we take your privacy. Ordering & Shipping FAQs

 

How does BluePod ship products and what are the rates?

Many businesses tease you with low prices and then whack you with excessive shipping fees and charges.  We don't profit one nickel from shipping & handling. Period.  We use ground delivery.  All orders are personally checked for accuracy before leaving our warehouse. We normally ship orders within 2-3 business days of receipt so most orders will arrive within a week or so. [top]

Do you use green shipping methods?

Absolutely.  Our shipping leaves the smallest possible impact on our planet.  While it doesn't cost us less, we almost always ship your order in recycled boxes and we cushion your order with recycled paper or biodegradable peanuts.  We also ship by ground transportation, which uses less energy than express delivery.  How do I Track My Order?

All packages will have a tracking number assigned. After your order is shipped (usually within 2-3 business days), we'll e-mail you your tracking number. [top]

Can I receive a printed catalog?

Sorry, we don't have one.  We try and have BluePod leave the smallest impact on our planet.  Wouldn't it be great if everyone cut back on unnecessary catalogs that usually go from printer, to postman to garbageman?  [top]

Can I order if I'm outside the United States?

For now, products purchased on BluePod can only be billed or shipped to destinations within the United States. [top]

What methods of payment do you accept?

Can I cancel or change an order?

Sorry, but once you submit your order, it cannot be changed or cancelled. [top]

What is Your Return Policy?

For any returns, please e-mail us at info@bluepod.com with the order number and the reason for the return.  We'll tell you how to return it to us.  No worries.

For stuff you just don't like, we ask that you return the unused portion to us together with your original invoice within thirty (30) days for a full refund (we can't credit or refund shipping charges).
 
Defective or Incorrect Items.  If your product is damaged or defective, or we shipped you the wrong item, please return it to us within 7 days after receipt for a full refund; we'll pay for the shipping.

Can I phone in an order?

We're not very good at being old school.  BluePod can only accept orders online. Shopping on BluePod.com is safe and secure. We use SSL encryption to keep your information safe, and we never distribute your personal information to third-party vendors.  See our Privacy Policy. [top]

How do I update personal information for my account?

Simply log in to your MyBluePod account and click on the Update Profile link. You will be able to change your mailing and contact information, as well as update subscription preferences. [top]

All of our products leave a smaller footprint than their chemical counterparts. They must be organic, non-toxic, compostable/biodegradable or the 3 "R"s: recyclable, recycled or reusable. [top]

What are Tester's Notes?

We have a team of testers who sample countless green products in their everyday lives, not some crazy lab.  Most products don't make the cut.  The ones you see on BluePod were given the green light by our testers.  Each product has "Testers Notes" where you can read the impressions, opinions and tips of our testers.  [top]

Can I become a Tester?

What are the Terms of your Membership and BlueBucks Programs?

Under our current program, Members receive 10% off of our regular prices, (excludes  shipping & handling, specials, applicable sales tax, sale items and coupons).  Also, Members earn BlueBucks equal to 2% of the purchases of their referrals plus 1% of the purchases of their friends' referrals.  BlueBucks are calculated on the net purchase price (excludes shipping & handling and applicable tax).  Both programs are subject to change at any time.  Please check back periodically for program details.
